Poetry Presentations


Next week we will be presenting our poems to the rest of the class. Don't forget to keep practising for this. Remember that your poem should start with an introduction that ...

    - introduces yourself
    - states the name of the poem and the author
    - writes a sentence (or two) about why you have chosen this poem


For example;

"Good morning Room 9. My name is Mrs Wood and I am going to share the poem 'Red Riding Hood' by Roald Dahl. I chose this poem because I like the rhythm of the words. The poet has written it in a way that you can add expression to your voice. I think it is entertaining to read aloud."
